I started working out with Coach Gaglione and Coach Prush in July 2012. Both of them have pushed me to places I have never gone before with weight training. I have always been a big cardio girl but lifting weights has totally changed my body. I have lost 22lbs so far and 2 1/2 inches from my waist. Gaglione Strength is a different type of gym than most because the workouts are tailored to my needs throughout the year. If I had an injury or something was wrong John showed me an alternate workout I could do that still gave a good sweat, but protect myself. The coaches at Gaglione Strength are motivating and their positive attitudes make me want to come back and workout. Being a female at a strength gym full of athletes may be intimidating at first, but John and Eric make us feel welcome and at home.

When I first came to the gym I was relatively in shape because I have always worked out. However since I have been attending Gaglione Strength I notice more definition in my muscles, increased flexibility, more stamina, and an increase in tone. John taught us how to set goals and helps each one of us with our individual goals.

"It’s been six months and I can honestly say my whole entire body is becoming stronger"

July of 2012, I contacted John because I wanted to join a gym and get back into shape. I didn’t want to join any gym; I specifically wanted to join Gaglione Strength because it is the exact training I used to get while playing collegiate soccer. If anyone is an athlete, they know most gyms don’t offer intense programs or have the right equipment to prepare you for competition. I knew Gaglione Strength would offer just the right amount of intensity and I would be able to target specific areas on my body. Although I do not compete competitively anymore, I still want to continue training and I know Gaglione Strength is the place that will help me reach my goals.

From when I first started to where I am now, I see and feel a huge difference. Starting out, my upper body was very weak, my legs where my strength. It’s been six months and I can honestly say my whole entire body is becoming stronger. Not only is the training having an impact body wise, it is also having an impact mentally. Having the coaches as a support system has really helped push me to train better and harder. John also is such an amazing person that he wants to know what else is going on in your life. We are a team, when I found myself struggling a bit, John was right there offering his help or an ear for listening. Being part of Gaglione Strength is one of the best decisions I could have made to focus on me and my health. I started at Gaglione Strength in August of 2012 with little weight lifting experience. With the help of coach John and coach Eric, I have learned the proper lifting techniques that will allow me to reach my full potential. largely as a result of the encouraging atmosphere at Gaglione Strength, I have seen a tremendous increase in my strength- I can now do over thirty push-ups in one session, a large jump from the single one I struggled with in August.
